1. Community Member — join instantly
This is where everyone starts. Register on our website and you’re in immediately — no application, no waiting for approval. As a Community Member, you get:

• Access to VaPassion resources
• Access to VaPassion workshops and events

2. Project Lead — take ownership of a project
Ready to drive something specific rather than just take part? Project Lead is an application-based role for members who want hands-on responsibility for a concrete project within VaPassion.

3. Core Team — become part of the backbone
The Core Team keeps VaPassion running. This step is also application-based, and it’s where involvement turns into real, ongoing responsibility for the initiative.

4. Department Member — lead a focus area
From the Core Team, members can grow into leading one of VaPassion’s departments.

5. Board — shape VaPassion’s direction
At the top of the path, the Board works closely with the Core Team and decides on where VaPassion goes next.
